disinterested pack provider . The completed Home Information Pack can be downloaded from our online portal when complete , using your own unique password
by you or your agent , thus saving on paper .
You will receive recommendations and advice
on energy efficiency and ways to reduce the carbon footprint of the property . Plus details of any
improvement grants available at the time. All invaluable information for the prospective buyer . In the online
portal you can track the progress of your HIP , again
saving the need for paper copies and unnecessary
expense. Therefore helping the environment and
keeping the price down for you the valued customer .
A Home Information Pack is a collection of information about a property which is provided by the home seller
or the sellers agent.
The pack is intended to improve the home buying and selling process in England & Wales, a process which is currently very slow and subject to a 30% failure rate.
From 14th December 2007 all residential houses on the market with vacant possession will need a Home Information Pack (HIP). By law, the HIP will have
to include a range of information including the service history ofthe house ( evidence of ownership , planning consents etc.. ) and an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) .
